Abstract
This article is a study that dealt with the concept of religious apostasy among the People of the Book among the Jews and Christians, and presented the most prominent texts related to this issue, then to stand on the implications of this concept for them, whether on their own people or other nations, and the intolerance behind it of passion that led to controversy and contention, then Atonement and bloodshed.
