Abstract

The research talks about the role of educational institutions in achieving intellectual security. Noting that intellectual security prevails in societies where moderation is achieved. Working to establish the moderation of Islam and the moderation of its principles in society is of high importance to achieving intellectual security, and keeping away from moderation is a major cause of intellectual deviation, which leads to insecurity. Achieving moderation cannot be done by a specific institution, but the efforts of all societal institutions must be combined to work towards achieving this. The most important of these institutions are: educational institutions; From schools, universities, literary clubs, and others. The majority of society members attach the utmost importance to schools and universities in their educational role in achieving intellectual security for members of society and protecting them from deviation. Most people rely on the guidance of teachers and professors for their children, and educate them against slipping into the abyss of intellectual deviation. Hence, the important role of these institutions in achieving intellectual security emerged.
