Abstract

The issue of the covenant or the charter is one of the common issues between the Holy Book and the Holy Qur’an, and these two terms have ideological dimensions that are explained by the contexts of the sacred texts in which they were mentioned, and due to their doctrinal importance, they have gained the attention of the interpreters of the Bible and the interpreters of the Holy Qur’an, in addition to their meanings and linguistic connotations that received a large share among the authors Dictionaries and dictionaries of the Arabic language and dictionaries and dictionaries of the Bible. The importance of this study lies in the fact that it deals with an issue that bears dimensions that have an indefinite time extension, especially the belief of the Jews about their entitlement to the Promised Land (Palestine) as they are God's chosen people, as they claim. And this research is an attempt to transcend the limits of previous studies, which found that they studied the issue either as one of the beliefs of the People of the Book or Muslims and not as a comprehensive
