Abstract
The ummah gave birth to a large number of splendid scholars who colored the Islamic heritage in their character, and left their distinctive fingerprints in various Islamic sciences and knowledge, including Imam Zafar and Imam Al-Shafi’i. My research spoke about the systematic difference in ijtihad between the two imams, may God Almighty have mercy on them, as well as the time difference except that they are agreed in many branches of jurisprudence. I intend to show the issues agreed upon in this research tagged (the approvals of Imam Zafar and al-Shafi’i, may God Almighty have mercy on them - selected samples from the Book of Purification). My aim in this research was to focus on points of agreement rather than points of difference as is the case in many messages and research, as I see in the meeting a strength that strengthens this or that opinion, even though the difference has mercy on him It was my method in the research to mention the agreed issue between the two imams Zafar and Al-Shafi’i (may God have mercy on them), then I mention those who agreed with them and those who differed from them from the jurists, and the evidence of each team, including the size of the research, and at the end of the research, I reached conclusions and recommendations, the most prominent of which was to continue the research in matters The compatibility between Imam Zafar and Shafi’i in all other doctrinal doors.
