Abstract

In this study, the researcher introduced the book "Uyoon al-Athar" from which his author summarized the book "Noor al-Uyoon" and I showed its importance for Biographers and historians. I introduced its author, Ibn Sayyed al-Nas, declaring his scientific rank and the scientists' opinions. Then I outlined the material of the book "Noor al-Uyoon" and approved its author, and explained his abbreviation-based approach and its most important features. She described his historical course in arranging events and facts, and explained the author's accuracy, scientific honesty, and his tuning of names, nicknames and titles. As for his resources, I mentioned them arranged according to their importance, starting with the Qura'n, the prophet's sayings (Hadeeth) (peace be upon him) and the works of the Companions, and the books that can be trusted of. The researcher reviewed texts from the author's book as evidences for what previously mentioned about his course and resources which the researcher documented depending on Sunnah and biographies.
