Abstract

Praise be to God, Lord of the Worlds, and prayers and peace be upon the Seal of the Prophets and Messengers, and upon his good family and his faithful companions, and beyond.Today, the media is taking center stage in this planet, and is directly related to human life, affects them and changes their convictions. Some of them even build many of their dreams and goals on what is issued by the various media. And the image that makes us judge other human beings, is what we see, hear and reach us about them, as well as what reaches them about Islam and Muslims from news and events in the Islamic world, and this is what made the world a small village where people know each other’s news very quickly and clearly and within a few seconds. But the problem lies in the image that is transmitted about Islam and Muslims to others, in which some enemies and opponents of Islam control the media machine, and you can imagine the picture. Therefore, I tried in my research entitled (The Role of Preachers in Contemporary Media) to shed light on the role of preachers and the difficult task entrusted to them, with the presence of a torrent of media misinformation and negative pumping against Islam and Muslims. In which I relied on a group of modern and contemporary sources and references that cover the subject in all its aspects, hoping that God grants success and payment
