Abstract
History of Anbar city records the scholary enterprise in which women have played an important and active role. The science of hadith forms an outstanding exception in this respect. The contribution of women in preservation of hadith has been great indeed . A survey of the texts reveals that most of the important compilers of hadith received many of them from women teachers as the immediate authorities .
This topic needs further in order to gain a clear understanding of the role of women played in preservation of hadith . In this study I will tackle the achievements of the Muslim's female scholars in Anbar city throughout histry . Perhaps looking back and investigating that aspect of history will help as to bring this Ummah back to what it once was .
