Abstract

The present research focuses on certain figures of companions and partisans of three or less who have an effect on the interpretation of the holy Quran. It tries to expose thee figures and present a clear picture about them as researchers have not yet tackled them though they have certain contribution in the science of interpretation. The research cares about the reasons behind the scarce interpretation cited from them. Also, it attempts to explore their biographies, their traces in Quran interpretation and the nature of interpretative narrations as well as their position among other exegeses.
The research is divided into an introduction, preface two chapters and a conclusion The preface consists of two sections; The first gives a brief account of Al-Ssuytti and his book Adur Al-Manthoor. The second traces the reasons behind scarce narration of some scholars. The first chapter: exegeses' interpretations of companions and partisans. It is of two sections; The first exegeses' interpretations of companions. The second exegeses' interpretations of partisans. The second chapter: exegeses' explanations of companions and partisans. It is of three sections; The first section: exegeses' explanations from Al-Fatihah (opening) Surah to Al-Taubah Surah. The second section; exegeses' explanations from Yunus Surah to Al-Ankabut. The third section: exegeses' explanations from Ar-Rum Surah to An-Nas Surah.
Conclusion: The most important outcomes of the research. There is an appendix that lists a number of interpreters and the narrations of each. These are arranged in a table to facilitate the citation, number of interpreters and their narrations.
